About Melissa
Melissa received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Dayton Ohio. She graduated from Vanderbilt University and became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and went on to obtain her Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification. Melissa is also a professor of Nursing at the Whitson-Hester School of Nursing. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling. She is the leader of two service oriented study abroad programs at TN Tech, one in Belize and the other in Cuba.
