Recently we had a very disappointing experience. We’ve been with Kids Kare since my baby was born, and recently he had his 6 month wellness appointment. At the appointment, I discussed with Becky, the nurse practitioner, what vaccines I wanted him to receive that day. She said that sounded good and added it to his charts. The nurse came in, gave him his vaccine, and when she went to fill out his vaccine card, I found out the nurse had added two vaccines WITHOUT MY CONSENT that I had not wanted my baby to receive. When I asked the nurse why he received this, she told me that Becky did not know that they were only given as a combination vaccine. I’m very frustrated. Why did the doctor not know this and explain it to me sooner? Why did she not tell the nurse which vaccines we’d discussed? We will not be going back and will be finding a new pediatrician. Make sure if you do go to ask every one involved what vaccines they are giving your child so the nurse doesn’t give them without your consent!

Dr. Ramos is extremely knowledgeable! She is always patient, listens to our concerns and explains her decisions. Thank you for compassionately caring for my daughter. We are so grateful for you!

We have been with kids Kare for years and unlike some offices they take care of things immediately, they are always very welcoming and have always had the availability to get my child in if sick. Not to mention the after hours system that they have that triages your worries as a parent. I will always highly recommend Dr. Climaco and his staff.
